Sorry about the whole ‘driveway and path leading to our mailbox’ situation.

A) I was at work when everything started to ice over.
B) I am a weakling who cannot break ice with a shovel.
C) My dad is in the Philippines enjoying 75 degree weather and did not tell me where he keeps the salt. Did I mention he is practically impossible to contact? I probably talked to him twice since November 5th.
D) I do not have time to find and buy the right kind of salt (but, apparently, I have enough time to write this blog entry… hmm.). You should see my fridge! EMPTY! I haven’t even deposited my paycheck from last week.

I called my godfather and, hopefully, he’ll come by in the afternoon and take care of the everything.

Today would’ve been my mom’s 50th birthday. I went with my grandma and aunt to the cemetery, the first time I went with them since the funeral. (I usually go with my dad.) My grandma started crying which got me crying. At this point, my little cousin stared at us for a second and asked my aunt, “Why are Nanay and Ate Denise crying? … and how come I’m not crying?”
