and we cry when they all die blonde says:
oh, i met pamela anderson.
Friday night is killing me says:
…
and we cry when they all die blonde says:
i”m afraid so.
Friday night is killing me says:
is her boob as big as your head?
and we cry when they all die blonde says:
it jutted across the room and poked some guy’s eye out
and we cry when they all die blonde says:
she gave me a glossy signed picture of her. and my mom accidently dissed her.
and we cry when they all die blonde says:
she didn’t even look at her, it was an autograph signing and doyle brunson was there and pamela anderson looked at her and said ‘you don’t even WANT my autograph DO you?’
I really hate you at the moment. You and your 56.6MB updater… which, by the way, is taking FOREVER to download because of my crappy internet connection. I reset you back to factory settings 7 months ago and now you’re refusing to play and skipping songs ONCE AGAIN!
I like you, iPod. You’re a bit scratched up, but your two-year-old battery holds up pretty well. I don’t care if the new models are X times skinnier than you. I don’t need fancy colored screens, artwork, lyrics, and episodes of Lost on you. ALL I WANT YOU TO DO IS TO PLAY MUSIC AND LOAD THE NEXT SONG WITHIN 5 SECONDS WHEN I SKIP THROUGH A SONG. Is that too much to ask?
- Your very annoyed owner
(Internet-land, have any of you replaced your battery through Apple’s little program? What exactly do you get back? The iPod you sent? A new one? A refurbished one?)
Edit: There’s definitely something wrong with my iPod. I couldn’t even restore it. It makes the regular whirring noise, clicks, then stops… and then it does it again. Kind of like how my CD-rom sounds when I put in a CD-R that’s been scratched up. And what do you know… my AppleCare plan ends in exactly one week. I guess I’ll be making a little trip to the Apple store this weekend.
I have this bad habit of buying the postcards at Barnes & Noble. I love the black & white photos of famous people and random things. My big “plan” was to save them, frame them, and hang them up in my room… but it’s obvious that I will never get around to it.
So… Do you want me to send a postcard to you? I’m not sure how many postcards I have (or will buy in the future). uh… so just comment and email me at 10am.automatik@gmail.com with your address if you are interested. I promise I won’t send you roadkill, chemical waste, or one of my ears.
9:28AM: Excitement has turned into fear because of all these thunderstorms. Have I mentioned that I HATE lightning?
3:44PM: Severe thunderstorms until 9 according to weather.com. The scary thing is that a part of me DOESN’T CARE. I have been waiting to see the Black Crowes for a while now. I want to stay until the concert ends or until I get struck by lightning or hail.
4:04PM: I think the BC song Thunderstorm 6:54PM would be appropriate for tonight…
12:38AM: FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE, I AM TOTALLY HAPPY THAT WEATHERMEN GET IT WRONG SOMETIMES.

Kind of disappointed in myself. I think I would be happier with everything if I spent more time on things. I hope my grades don’t bring my GPA down by much…

About two years ago, I became obsessed with a little band called the Black Keys. I kind of “forgot” about them once I heard the Kings of Leon’s Aha Shake Heartbreak… anyway, the Black Keys are putting out a new album in September called Magic Potion.
I found some songs from it through hype.non-standard.net. I enjoy them very much.
The Black Keys – Your Touch
The Black Keys – Give Your Heart Away
The Black Keys – Modern Times
In other music news, I am seeing the Black Crowes for the first time this weekend. I’ve seen the setlists and I LOVE that their setlists change every night. It’s not going to be some greatest hits concert.
Some of the songs I hope to hear live on Saturday:
The Black Crowes – (Only) Halfway to Everywhere
LOVE LOVE LOVE this song, makes me want to dance.
The Black Crowes – Another Roadside Tragedy
The Black Crowes – Hotel Illness
The Black Crowes – Wiser Time
The Black Crowes – High Head Blues
Edit: And one more because I’m in a good mood…
During my freshman year of college, I was watching VH1 and this one video came on and I LOVVVEEDDD the song, but I never looked up the artist. Then I forgot the artist and the title of the song and I’ve been seriously searching for it for a while. Today, I looked for music from the bands who are opening for the Black Crowes and guess what song I find. THE SONG. I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS CONCERT NOW.
Saturday was a good day. I always forget my digital camera during these kinds of days. Thank god that Leila doesn’t.

The Who are playing at PNC Bank Arts Center on Sept. 21st. I want to go so badly, but it’s on a Thursday night and finding someone who likes the Who and can miss class might be a bit difficult. I don’t have any friday classes and my last Thursday class ends at 12:30, so I have no problem. I was seriously thinking of just going by myself, but that doesn’t seem like much fun.
Bitch can sing.
(Obviously. She didn’t win American Idol by standing there…)
I think the point of this tour was to ‘test’ her new songs. I liked them. She did this cover of a song called, “Home”. I loved it. I wish I heard her when she said who did the original. (Marc Broussard. Thank you, google.) I was surprised how many people would just sit down during a new song or a song they didn’t recognize. Even though Elah and I were in the back, we got a pretty good view of the stage because all these people in front of us would just plop on their lawn chairs.
What I didn’t like about the show:
- Her band would sometimes drown her out. At other times, it was like a battle between her voice and the electric guitar.
- It was too short. Rooney went onstage around 7:45 or 8 and the concert ended a little after 10. The reason behind all of that is probably because of the younger audience members.

So I watched the Devil Wears Prada with Leila today. I liked it 8402424024803840328420 times more than the book.
