This school year, I have been deprived of the following:
- sleep
- art
I definitely have been catching up on those. I sleep for almost half of the day. Sad, I know. I feel groggy, but it’s still awesome because SLEEEEEP! Then last night, and most of this morning, all these ideas for art projects have been pouring out of my head. I have two pictures drawn so far, and there’s still more I want to do with my cameras.
I am going to meet up with the cousins in an hour for “Poker Nite”. I think I am just going to watch them, draw, and take pictures. I don’t know how to play poker… Plus, I don’t need to catch up on spending (and wasting) money. I did a lot of that during school.
I am leaving the US in three weeks for my cousin’s wedding in the Philippines. I bought a nice dress to wear to the wedding and I found one in my closet that I could wear if it’s too hot.
I just found out a few days ago that I’m going to be IN the wedding.
Ohhh no, not again.
The last time I was in a wedding, I was 12 years old and I ruined all their wedding pictures by having the BIGGEST frown on my face. There were about 18 layers of makeup on my face and it felt like it was 90+ degrees outside. Feeling your face “melt” is the most disgusting thing ever. And the dress! Oh Jesus, the dress! The inside of the dress I had to wear was lined with stuff that felt like mosquito nets. Melty makeup, poofy and itchy mosquito net dress. I’m sure you would not be smiling.

We really are one happy bunch, aren’t we?
I think the only happy person in this picture is the bride!
