b) write an essay for stockton
c) try and finish my applications
d) buy the chicago soundtrack
e) come up with a new layout

it’s ten o’clock. maybe i can start with the essay now… and study until god knows when.. then study some more tomorrow morning before i have to go in.

the french teacher made me sit out in the hallway today cause i didn’t take a quiz that they were going over. so i went to the bathroom to pee (I am never ever going back because i think there are ciggarette ashes stuck on the toilet seat and that is just gross.), to my locker to get my sweater, and then i didn’t have anything else to do… so i just sat in a doorway across the hall… waiting for them to let me back in. they never did and i spent the rest of the period out there.

time goes by faster in the hallway than it does in the french room. indeed.

ever play that game where you tell one person something and you pass it on to the next person and when you get to the last person, the message is totally different? that’s what happened to the whole thing about the fire yesterday.
dr. may came in our class during 1st period and told us that the state police called to see if we needed assistance or helicopters, a radio station called to see if the chemistry teacher was alright (they heard that he lost his leg when he put out the fire.), and all this other crazy stuff. it was fire in a garbage can. what’s pretty weird/funny is that it wasn’t the fire that did harm… it was the extinguisher. kids with breathing problems reacted to the smell of the chemicals in the extinguisher or something and got sick.

Oh man. I skipped lunch and went to the library today (so I wouldn’t have homework) and the fire alarm went off. If it goes off during lunch, it usually means that someone pulled the alarm or there was really a fire. We had to go outside and I didn’t have a jacket and it did not feel like it was 40 degrees outside. Dumb weather people. It was a real fire and we had to stand out there for a longggg time and wait for the fire department to come. One of the guidance counselors gave me her hat because my ears were so cold that they started hurting. I looked so cool. Yeah, so apparently… one of the chemistry teachers was doing a demonstration and there were sparks and one of the sparks landed in the garbage can and POOF! fire.

i was going to cut gym today since my english class was out seeing lord of the rings and there was no point to stay 9th and 10th period. but i had to go to guidance to do my application thing and that took a while so i just stayed till the end of the day. i should’ve cut gym… we had to do these things where you lay on your back, lift one leg up, lift your ass off of the floor, and you had to just stay in that position for 10 – 15 seconds. we also had to do leg throws. i am going to hurt tomorrow. it doesn’t help that my legs are already sore from running yesterday. oh pain.

I will be sending in another application to this school (tcnj) tomorrow. This is my “reach school” or whatever the hell they call the school that you waste 50 dollars applying to because they’ll never let you in because they’re too good for you. 2 more ( or one more) to go… I think it’ll be one more because I really don’t want to go to Montclair because i haven’t visited it. Stockton vs. Montclair (Assuming education is the same )

Stockton
+ nice school that i’ve visited and seen
- it’s south jersey. out in the middle of lots of pine trees.
+ barely any traffic jams
- 2 hour drive home
- 2 hours away from the city, about 1 hour away from Philadelphia, and an hour away from Asbury Park

Montclair
- i have no idea what it looks like or anything about it at all
+ close to civilization
+ 30 minute drive home
+ i can take 2 trains to the city easily and if i can do that, who cares about going to philadelphia and asbury park for shows and stuff.

- went to my aunt’s house
- watched the glass house
- watched tv
- sat on the couch alone and slept
- ate and ate and ate
- did not participate in the money throw (too busy trying some grapefruity … stuff that would’ve been better if there was ice in it. )
- considered stealing the records that were on the coffee table ( a bob dylan album, a janis joplin album, and a jackson five album )
- got a headache afterwards

new year’s sucks. 6 months and 18 days until i graduate.
